Maelani Blue studied painting at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia. She moved to the USA in her early 20s, where she studied and pursued a career in graphic design. With a great passion for academic drawing, painting, traditional and modern printmaking, photography, and ceramics, she is always pushing herself. Her work is not static; it keeps changing with every new life experience. She challenges herself to experiment with a wide variety of styles and mediums to keep evolving. Her goal is to find a balance between simplicity and complexity and to be able to evoke an emotional response in a viewer.
