With a rustic weathered smoked gray Mink finish and clean modern lines, the multi-functional Linville Falls Credenza includes a roomy 60-inch top, a small file on one side and a lateral file on the other. Altogether, there are 4 drawers, including 2 top utility drawers, and the lower drawers are locking file drawers with pendaflex filing systems. Fully finished on the back, the desk can be floated in a room. Capturing the essence of nature’s organic color palette and the aura of a rustic mountain cottage, Hooker Furniture introduces the Linville Falls collection. The whole home collection is designed for younger consumers looking for casual and contemporary furniture. Characterized by its rustic, weathered finish and clean lines paired with organic grain patterns, Linville Falls is constructed with split oak solids and veneers and has an overall organic aesthetic. It is featured in a soft Smoked Gray finish mixed with a Charred Black finish that is achieved through Shou Sugi Ban, a Japanese technique that creates an elegant burnt wood look. Its moderate scaling and fresh silhouettes offer a refreshing juxtaposition mixing old with new.

  • Finish: Mink: A soft smoked gray finish. Textured metal bar pulls in an antique pewter finish.

Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.

  • Drawer Construction: Hooker Furniture offers full height, full depth and full width drawers for maximum storage capacity. All drawers have strong, time-tested English or French dovetail construction, for years of problem-free use. Plywood drawer bottoms are attached to plywood drawer sides for strength and durability. Metal side guides or wood on wood guide systems operate smoothly.
