With a casual attitude and a sun-washed character inspired by the Mediterranean island for which it is named, the Corsica Bookcase is crafted of Acacia Veneers with a wire-brushed, artisan light natural finish with reclaimed character. Stylish details include an arched top trimmed in shaped crown molding, a planked back panel and a wavy X-stretcher connecting 4 bun feet. The bookcase has 3 adjustable/removable shelves and one fixed shelf for ample storage and display. The Work Your Way program focuses on the new reality many consumers face as they continue to do much of their work from their homes. Available in five design styles, the program offers an assortment of key home office pieces for a variety of spaces Ð whether a dedicated executive home office or a more casual workstation. Ranging in scale and functionality, all of the groups within Work Your Way include an executive desk, a junior executive desk, a writing table, a lateral file, a credenza and hutch and a bookcase.

  • Finish: A wire-brushed, artisan, light natural finish with reclaimed character is on exotic beautiful Acacia wood, known for its rustic charm, tactile hand, knots and color variations in serene organic hues of gray, rose and natural. Distressing includes wire brushing, rock, worm holes and scratch antiquing. 

  • Frame Construction: Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
